The 2025 Automotive Castings Section meeting will take place the 6th of November.

The 17h October 2025, the EFF - European Foundry Federation gathered in Frankfurt for the annual Rolls Section Meeting, bringing together experts from seven companies across Austria, Germany, Belgium and France. The Rolls sector is at the heart of Europe’s steel and metals value chain, producing high-performance components that enable steelmaking, energy generation and advanced manufacturing. As EFF Secretary General Ainhoa Ondarzabal highlighted, the strength of this group lies in its openness, collaboration and shared commitment to tackling structural, environmental and market challenges. The Rolls Section also plays a key role in EFF’s advocacy in Brussels, helping ensure that foundries — and the Rolls industry in particular — are recognised in European industrial, trade and sustainability policies under the Steel & Metals Action Plan.
